Castle Barton was built originally as a
farmhouse in the 1840`s. It abuts the 15th Century gatehouse
at Tiverton Castle and is within the Castle walls, just behind
Castle Lodge.
It overlooks Grade 1 listed St Peters Church next door with its
melodious clock chimes.
It has been extensively refurbished
and is one of the loveliest houses in Tiverton, with picturesque
Gothic windows.
